Learn how fun and easy it can be to design and build just about anything you can imagine using a laser cutter, CNC machine or 3D printers— including your own customized  fidget spinners! Students will learn how to design and create in 3D using Autodesk TinkerCad, and then will bring their creations to life using our advanced fabrication machines. They will be introduced to all areas of the makerspace including 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC machines, vinyl cutters, soldering equipment, circuitry and electronic gizmos and gadgets. Based on the design process at the Stanford d.School, this course will help build self-confidence, perseverance, creativity, collaboration and communication skills.  Students will have take-home projects.
